The Office of e-Government is charged with developing whole-of-government policies to maximise efficiencies in the public sector’s collective ICT capability, while at the same time assisting individual agencies to develop and implement their own e-government initiatives. [More Information]

  • Website Governance Framework: April 2008
    Government Websites: Provide WA Government agencies with a consistent approach to the management and delivery of information and services, to citizens and business in the online environment.
  • Standard Operating Environment: December 2007
    Policy Position Paper for moving towards a Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the Western Australian Government.

  • Office of e-Government Community Day: November 2007
    Staff participated in a Corporate Care day for the Swan River Trust in November. 
  • Peer-to-Peer Network Protocols Position Paper: September 2007
    Highlights issues relating to legal, security and infrastructure risks posed by P2P, reviews possible solutions to mitigate these risks and identifies situations that might indicate P2P presence. 
  • Privacy Impact Assessment Report: August 2007
    The PIA Report describes the WAGN (Western Australian Government Number) proposal developed by OeG, and identifies and analyses the potential privacy impacts and risks associated with its implementation.
